Our mission is to fellowship with one another to guide, teach, and develop men into becoming mighty men of God through the Word of God and prayer.
Acts 2:42
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Throughout the ages secular cultures, including many churches, define what a man should be or can be according to popular beliefs and trends of their time. We must stop subjecting the Word of God to “OUR” lifestyle choices but subject ourselves to the Word of God.
Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
So the question we should be asking ourselves is, “What does the Bible say?”
On the second Monday of every month, at 7:00 pm, we join together for prayer and teaching at Church of Pentecost to find out exactly what the bible says!
Throughout the year we will get together for a men’s breakfast, fishing, cook out, Men’s Retreat, and many other things. As men of God it is necessary to fellowship and encourage one another.
Hebrews 10:25
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Through fellowship, prayer, and encouragement we come together in the same mind to become better disciples of Christ.
1 Corinthians 1:10
Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
